Patrick Belcher (AKA Belchspeak) is an offensive ignorant fool who attacked members of the Autistic community while pushing the VTech gunman as a "loser" (amongst other like terms). Now whilst Cho was an idiot - indeed, he was voted Idiot of the Month for April 2007 - this fool Belcher was putting him over as a complete psycho from the get go. That's wrong. Cho's idiotic and unacceptable actions were the product of a culture than doesn't show appropriate tolerance for another. But when Aspie Endersdragon got involved, identifying with some of the issues Cho faced, Belcher accused him of lying. He threatened to send Enders IP to the FBI just to show his fear of something he didn't understand. Belcher then went on an ID spray, publishing the IP (illegal in Australia), Ender's real first name and whole lots of other assumptions just to make himself look superior. Typical NT lout and bully. Endersdragon came back and rightly accused him of making sport of suicide and bully victims. Belcher responded by accusing Enders of considering Cho a hero (something that Enders never said), and Enders rightly pointed out that he understood. That doesn't mean that he agreed with Cho's actions, let alone considered him a hero. Enders mentioned how Cho had been molested as a child, and Belcher actually didn't ignore that. But he used it prove that it made Cho a murderer - and failed to acknowledge that something needed to be done before that point was reached. Belcher's bullying behaviour shows that he believes nothing should be done. When someone else outed Belcher for being the sort of bully that caused Cho to commit his idiotic acts, Belcher quickly denied having anything to do with it - only for Enders to rightly correct him. People like you make people like me miserable for our entire lives and expect us to laugh it off with good spirits. You cry yourself to sleep enough times in high school you are wasted by the time you are in college. Though if you care to make fun of me for crying myself to sleep feel free too. Someone called Diane then came in and defended Enders, and that got her a lecture about responsibility. That was the pot calling the kettle black! We can't help being Aspies, idiot!! And when Diane rightly called him on misrepresenting Autistics; If anyone is misrepresenting autistics, its people that try to use an illness to assert moral authority over what someone else says. And moral authority is rightly applied when people like Belcher ignore the condition and treat it with contempt. That includes bullying. And he persisted in calling Enders a fake - without proof. Cube Demon came across this and notified me of it, and I roared in with this; You’ve got a lot to learn about neurology, Pat. Cho got the way he did because he hated American society. A society that wouldn’t let him be himself and cut him off as a penalty. So he fought back. Incorrectly I agree, but nevertheless he was provoked. Not enough is done about bullying in college and school, and by saying what you are saying, you are trivialising it. For the record, Cho was NOT on the Autistic Spectrum. He was the victim of cultural intolerance. You continue it by calling him a “social retard”. Only a bully would use that sort of language. If there had been no bullying, VTech would never have happened. And I would point out that people like you MAKE us Aspies (yes, I’m one as well) a serious condition. Simply because you won’t let us be ourselves either. We have to follow your rules to get by and we can’t because of our condition. If you respond with abuse, my point will have been proven. This post is about Cho, and like most aspies I’ve had the misfortune of meeting, the world doesn’t revolve around you and your chronic navel gazing and whinging about societal acceptance. He also had a go at me because I wasn't American, and he claimed that the American education system was inclusive and there were actions in place to prevent bullying. I knew that was BS, and his previous commentary above showed that he was ANTI inclusion! So his claim that Cho was not a victim actually went against his own opinions on such matters! I responded thus; You have assumed all of that, because if anyone is a cultural bigot – it’s you. Australia can teach America a lot about cultural tolerance. We have more cultures here than you lot have – and you lot have a history of bullying. Don’t deny it, because you would be wrong. You are ignoring the obvious – Cho was the way he was because he WASN’T accepted. Why? Because he didn’t like the brash American way. And that wasn’t allowed was it? I think because of my efforts to actually research culture I would know more about it than you do. You are coming from a completley narrow and bigoted angle – and that is an automatic loss for you from the get go. If anyone thinks the world revolves around them, it’s you. You’ve got no idea.
