ROBERT OGILVIE | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Article created by Lee. Andrew Symonds shouldered Robert Ogilvie, a streaker at the cricket that was played at the Gabba. Ogilvie received a $1500 fine, but was not convicted. He disrupted the cricket which was not acceptable and Andrew Symonds was right to do what he did, which in a sense was not dissimilar to when Greg Chappell "spanked" a streaker with his bat in a match that he was playing in some time ago in England. If a streaker is going to stop a match, he deserves what he gets. Oglivie showed no remorse about his actions, saying that he did it because "It was something I just had to do" (DOH - what an idiot). Oglivie was shoulder blocked like something a professional wrestler would have done (that was a comment that Philip had said). No action will be taken against Andrew Symonds over the incident and there were no complaints to the police either. | ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
