2007 has been a mixed year for me. I guess I should break it into chunks of interest.

Football: The project made inroads with progress made in Western Australia and South Australia. I did some more Victorian work as well. The season proper was a mixed bag although I saw some great footy - partly because I gave priority to good games over the actual club visits as such. Choosing a match of the year as a result is hard, as I saw a number of close battles. I can only nail it down to two - Spotswood v Hoppers Crossing in May, and Wingfield v Colonel Light Gardens at the end of June. It was nice to see Geelong win the AFL flag, even though it was a thumping after the excitement of the last two years.

Wrestling: Locally I began the long road back at NAW, starting with just attending the first show of the year as a paying spectator. But that progressed through photography, and finally to publicity and sound. I was impressing everyone with my effort, and I intend to keep scratching backs (so to speak) in 2008. I finally returned to refereeing on the last show in December, so the next step is to get Lucky Phil Lewis back onto the show. That's not up to me in the end - except that I just have to keep my proverbial nose clean. So far, I've steered clear of the trouble.

Internet: Of course, it was in April that this Wiki made it's debut. It's been a difficult year with the football season hitting a few snags - along with the ongoing war with Fore Sam also providing a distraction. That war is certain to continue into 2008. I was a member of the All Aussie Wrestling forum, but I requested that my membership be terminated just before the site went down for the second time in it's existence. I'll probably start promoting NAW through Pro Wrestling Oz in 2008, as that seems to be the only place on the Net right now to do so. The biggest event of the year was on the Internet and a four page Personal Event article has gone up to cover it. I'll leave that there for obvious reasons.

My blog numbers are up, with three now at Blogspot as well as the one at Big Blog. I'm back on My Space, but I barely use that. I made an account with You Tube and created two videos - one of which I'm immensely proud of (called "The Real Disease"). The second - Phil's Report - wasn't so good, but I'm hoping to try for a second Phil's Report sometime in what remains of this summer. I also joined Wrong Planet, while I'm considering my options with Aspies for Freedom.

Aspergers: The other major event of the year for me was the Autism State Plan. That began it's consultation process in October with a seminar in November in Ballarat. The next aspect of the process will take place in 2008.

Politics: Oh was November 24 a relief in so many ways! After expressing my disgust in the Australian voting public in 2004, they restored my faith in democracy on this day - finally throwing out John Howard. With the new government I can restart my efforts to get my situation in general looked at (along with other Australian adult Aspies) and acted upon PDQ.

Aside from this, the other highlight of the year was the holiday to WA. After the football trip in 2006 on my own - Lee was with me this time, and even though I got some research work done, the core of the trip was up to Monkey Mia and the dolphins. Lee got to feed them twice and I didn't get a look in! In Perth we went to Rottnest Island, although Lee's heat exhaustion cut that day short.

Nothing else that I can recall occurred this year that was of note - or can be publicised.

All up - I can't really classify the year as good or bad. Hence, a mixed year.
