Whilst I was working on the new website and I was winding back general operations of the Wiki, I started an announcements sub page in my user space. Now that the Wiki is about to be deleted - I realised that I didn't have a spot for that to be housed. So below is the announcement page as it was when the Wiki officially closed - plus updates on the situations spoken of if required. 21 MAY:
Due to the move to the new website eventually, and due to other factors - no new users will be accepted. All new users will be blocked no matter what. This is simply an administrative measure and it is not intended to deny access. Users who have not made one edit will also be blocked shortly. The banner will correctly reflect this fact. 5 JUNE:
In other news, Phil's World sends it's best wishes to Craig Neill (Scratcher) for a quick recovery from an ankle operation he had on the evening of Thursday June 5. 8 JUNE: The TV appearance unfortunately didn't happen. The newswires in the VFL went nuts in the last couple of days with Sandringham and Melbourne ending their association, and Tasmania losing it's coach. They tried, but they just didn't get the time to get to me. Phil Cleary apologised to me himself and I was fine with it. These things happen. 20 JUNE: After the TV appearance fell through, I'm pleased to confirm that it has led to an alternative - a radio appearance! On Monday June 23 after the 9am news on ABC Ballarat, I'll be appearing on the Steve Martin show. Unfortunately this isn't being streamed on the Internet, but I am having the interview recorded and hopefully I may get permission to upload it to You Tube. And it won't just be about the football project - it will also be about my Aspergers. I don't know how long I'll be on for, but studio guests normally get at least ten minutes. The appearance was postponed when Steve became ill, but.... 29 JUNE: Steve is back. He'll be contacting me this afternoon (Monday) and Wednesday July 2 is likely at this point. It couldn't be today because of WWE Night of Champions, and tommorrow I'm going to the library again so Wednesday is the soonest I could do it. And I am definitely going to try and get permission to upload it onto You Tube given the members of that filthy Truth forum think it's a myth!! After a roller coaster of issues the appearance was finally confirmed for 10.45am on July 7. 10 JULY: It took place folks, and it went well! I forgot to ask about You Tube but I'll do that this morning. It was recorded and it went pretty well considering we only had so long to talk. I never did speak to them about the You Tube upload. I'll have to rectify that one of these days. 10 AUGUST:
Again, there will be no Impact Index this week as I was unable to watch it on Saturday night as I was too tired after the trip to Phillip Island. I'm also very busy over tommorrow and Tuesday so Impact, Phil's Weekend and the August 9 scores won't be updated until Tuesday night at this stage. Work on the new website is also contributing to this. 9 SEPTEMBER: Just a couple of notes. First, the Impact Index and the Unforgiven report will be going up tonight (Tuesday) because of delays caused by domestic issues including the new website. Second, to the IP who threw that threat into the edit summary, they'll have to identify themselves properly if I'm to take the slightest bit of notice of them. None of the names mentioned have told me to stop saying anything at all about the ND movement and only one of them has told me to stop mentioning them specifically. I don't like liars, especially those who use proxies like Hide My Ass to dodge bans! 19 SEPTEMBER: Australia Post must have fouled up again because I only found out this morning on the Country Court website through Court Connect that my litigation against Paris Tenana has been assessed - and on August 29 (the day I left for Tasmania which is why I missed it in court) Judge Campbell issued the order that Tenana owes me $23,600 in damages in total plus $200 in costs. In other words - I WON!!. Of course it's not over yet because in order for me to get what I'm owed I have to register the order in New South Wales. I won't be able to do that until the new website is up and the football season is cleared. My present illness isn't helping the website work to be honest. Today I'll be contacting the registry to see if they sent a copy of the order to me and I'll let them now I didn't receive it. Once I get it, it's likely I'll be scanning it and putting it on my website just for the idiots who don't believe it's true (like Fore Sam for example!) I didn't need anything from the city as it turned out. It was recorded in the system, and all I needed to do was do up the order myself with the appropriate form, and the registry in Ballarat could verify and confirm it - which is what I did. Later I found the full reasons for decision while looking up Tenana's name. The order has been registered in New South Wales and thanks to Tenana's stupidity thinking I was dumb (plus a tip off to confirm it) I was able to get a small amount off his former employer Screen Australia. That scared the dickens out of him and he left My Space, Facebook and Bebo and went to ground to avoid me. I'm taking my time with him - and I have plenty. I will also consider applying for an extension of the order to maybe increase the amount owed through interest - although I don't know if I would be allowed to do that. |
