APRIL FOOL! (HATING AUTISM GONE!)

This is great news!

After much battling and negotiation, I just got the court order registered in California to make sure that Google deletes the Hating Autism blog as a hate blog - and that the account of the owner is removed as well. Getting the original order was easier than I thought it would be, but that was only half the job. I then had to wiggle out a waiver in the US on the cost to register it. That was hard work and it probably cost me quite a bit in phone calls and lack of sleep (had to get up at 5am a couple of times) trying to get that done.

But it's done now - and I am about to fax the order to Google with a cover page explaining that the original is on it's way direct from the court there. They'll probably wait until they get the original knowing Google and tear the fax up and treat it as though it never came so the blog deletion might not happen until Thursday. But it's going!

This is sweet revenge for the failed attempt to get rid of the Foresam forum.

With this success in the chute and the precedent set I can look to other Blogger blogs that need to be taken down. I won't name them, and I'll have to approach them a little differently because they represent something other than "legal hate" (as such).

I linked this on the Autism Speak Social Network (and Scratcher linked it on the C Forum here), and I watched for the reaction of John Best Junior in particular - as well as his allies. Of course - it's all a crock of crap. It is a hate blog as we know, but I couldn't get an order here without notifying Best of it first by Writ. And as I understand it you can't get waivers of court fees in the US if you aren't a US resident. The issue with the Foresam forum couldn't have been better timed!
