HONESTLY! (Live Journal: October 29, 2004)

I get constantly frustrated when people suddenly expect me to drop the past totally and do something that is just plain wrong. I feel as though I'm not allowed to stick to my guns and have principles. What am I talking about? PCW!

I don't like talking about them anywhere in my "control zone" (ie my website or my forum) because I'd prefer to regard them as non existent. But it really got to me when one of their people actually had the gall to invite me to their next show! And what was worse - he actually didn't know what I was talking about when I told him that I wouldn't be caught dead at a PCW show AND he knew why!

I won't go into details, but the idiot proved just how stupid he is by going up the same track again - the "Get over it" line - as the management that I have so many issues with. I have always said that I don't have any problems with the wrestlers. Heck, two of them worked XAW Soul Survivor! And I have another on my friends list here on LJ! But management in another matter.

Closure is important to me - and I have never got that closure with PCW. I doubt that I will either. And I gave my reasons and this little idiot proved that he doesn't know as much as he thinks he does! And that's a big concern given that he's doing something VERY stupid shortly - getting in the ring with a wrestler who I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw him. I admit to being semi keen on having a match myself - but I know my limitations and who I can work with. And that list is limited to just three wrestlers at present (George Julio - who could work with anyone - Mozart and Charlie Marciano).

I hope that this person has got the message at last. But frankly he's doing too much butt kissing to realise that he has his fingers in his ears when the truth is told. Maybe he just doesn't want to hear it. OK, that's his choice, but it's a choice fraught with danger and he will have to live with the consequences. And he isn't the only one (again, referring to management).
