WEBSITE PROGRESS UPDATE

As the 2009 football season finishes, I have completed a stock take of what is still needing to be done on this website. It's quite a list and hopefully I'll make a lot of inroads over the summer of 2009 and 2010.

The Wiki has finally been deleted after I cleaned up what was left - mostly from the wrestling. The switch from the four forums to one combined forum has been a success, but I still have to switch the links on this website back to the new forum directly rather than via the forum link page. That's only a bit of it though! Aside from collecting comments from the four forums, here's the list;

1. FOOTBALL - The scores archives still have a long way to go. Only 2007, 2008 and 2009 are on the website at present. 2006 is the biggest pest and hopefully I'll find a way to speed that up. 2000 through to 2005 I had in hand until the season began in 2009, but now hopefully I'll get more done there. I also have one part of the project area missing (the missing scores) and the gaps page needs to be expanded as well.

2. WRESTLING - What was on the Wiki is now onsite, but that was only for 2006, 2007 and 2008 - except for ECW. Raw and Smackdown is still waiting for the rest back to 2001. And I have to add the title histories as well. There is also still the WCW archives (Nitro, pay per view and titles), the NWA archives (pay per view and NWA title), the TNA pay per view results history and the Australian section, Wrestling Planet.

3. POLITICS - I just recently completed the commentary archives, but I still have to add the party articles. And I've been neglecting current commentary as well.

4. ASPERGERS - I have another article lined up, and there are still four Aspie enemy articles to be uploaded with two of them in hand at present. There may be another on the way. Not to mention keeping the John Best Junior area up to date.

5. DOCTOR WHO, STAR WARS and MASH - All three only have front pages right now. There is some stuff on an old web for Doctor Who which would need to be transferred. I've done a little over half on the Star Wars work on paper, and I am working on the MASH episode guide on one of my datasticks that used to be for the Wiki.

6. GENERAL EVENTS - There are plenty of events still to be uploaded and they are listed under the uploaded articles. Plenty of work to be done in each as well. I also have to do a revamp of the Black Saturday article.

7. PLACES - I finally got around to adding the places themselves recently, but I still have to fill them out. A lot have been written on paper but they have to be transferred yet.

8. YEARS - I have to go through Wikipedia to add more here, and there are some font issues as well (because this came originally from Page Breeze). And hopefully some more user events will be added.

9. RAIL TRAVEL - I need to do a stock take here to include future plans, especially for V/Line in Victoria.

It's going to be a long summer - on top of what I have to do with the project and for the enquiry into the issues of the Autistic Spectrum. Not to mention the legal action against Google.

I'm hoping to have a lot done in most areas by Christmas 2009.
